We've faced new challenges in the past few months due to the coronavirus pandemic. We were staying at home, feeling like our lives were put on pause indefinitely. So, we couldn't pass it up when Farm Exports contacted us about partnering with them for their Stay in and Arrange Unfettered Florals Design Contest!
Unfettered (verb) - “Release from restraint or inhibition.”
We felt this contest was a perfect way to bring floral design straight to florists’ homes with a chance to win some great prizes:

This creative, design-focused contest required anyone who wanted to participate to order one of Farm Exports’ “Flower Packs” to design with. Everyone received the same flowers. The only catch was that they had to be designed in an unusual base or vase! The flowers that participants had to create their designs with were:
We were excited to be able to sponsor 3 Flower Packs to give away to anyone who wanted to enter. All they had to do was leave a comment on one of our contest posts on Instagram, answering the question:
“What are you most excited about for summer events?”
We received some great responses! It was nice to hear that everyone is busy and creative this summer.

After everyone had ordered and received their flower packs from Farm Exports, it was time to start seeing the beautiful entries roll in! Once participants completed their designs, they had to post a photo of it and tag us @detailsflowers and @farmexports on Instagram using the hashtags #unfetteredflorals and #stayinandarrange - and WOW, we were blown away by the creativity:

Even our Sales Lead Samatha ordered herself a Flower Pack and got to designing - just for fun! Here’s what she created:
After taking photos of each ingredient she received from the Flower Pack, Samantha could use Details to input her recipe for her planned design!
The Stay in and Arrange contest winners were announced on the evening of June 5th, during Farm Exports’ Zoom Happy Hour - after the employees at both Details and Farm Exports voted on their favorites. We were excited to find out who the winners were too, when we jumped onto the Happy Hour - it was so difficult to choose!
