FlowerFarm started as an idea in 2016 to give more people access to farm direct flowers. Our main goal was giving florists everywhere access to flowers no matter where they are, with the ease of ordering everything online. Simple ordering, unbeatable prices, fast shipping!
How many locations do you service? Or where do you service?
We service the entire United States, and can deliver to anyone, anywhere, as long as you are in the good old USA!
How do you go above and beyond for your customers?
We work with the best farms to offer the freshest, best quality products, all for our customers! We sample everything first, work with UPS to offer the fastest shipping, realizing that the flowers you receive are the entire reason for your business, we take it very seriously. We also want the shopping experience to be the fastest and most efficient for all our customers.
What are your best communication methods?
We communicate via phone, email and text. We make our best effort to answer every inquiry or question in a very timely manner! We do love to have a conversations with our customers, and create that personal connection via phone, but I guess we are a little old school in that way!
How far do you service?
Everywhere in the USA.
What days do you deliver to your local clients?
We deliver Monday- Friday.
What do you do in an emergency?
If there is an emergency, or you are unhappy with any of your flowers, we will make our best effort to fix it as soon as possible. We have the ability to ship things next day in the US, so we will find a wholesaler we can ship from in the case of an emergency.
What do you do if you can't find products?
We will try to contact all our farms to find it or see where we can get the products. If we are not able, we will notify the customer and send a picture of something as similar as possible and wait to hear from them if they would want to substitute it.
What do you like LEAST about florists?
This is hard, as we love florists and if we didn’t we wouldn’t be in the industry. But if we had to list one thing it would be their apprehensiveness to change. I think the floral industry is behind as far as technology goes, and we think there is a lot of room for development and room to make them more efficient (Examples: FlowerFarm & Details) and although tools and resources like these and many more are out there, they are there to help the florists save time and money, people seem apprehensive to utilize them.
What do you like BEST about your florists?
We love florist’s ability to be creative and that they are in this business to bring joy and happiness into people’s lives. Flowers are a true joy to receive and send, and even more so, to grow. We love that florists are in the business of making pretty things to bring happiness to the world we live in! We need to remind people how amazing it is to get flowers!
Do you offer any educational opportunities to enhance your florists' business?
As of right now we do not offer any educational opportunities, we are partnering with educational institutions to help students with flower sourcing. It is a future goal to add more education to our site.
How are you hoping Details Flowers Software will help your customers?
We are so excited to tell our customers about an amazing software that can help them manage their proposals and clients, giving them an opportunity to streamline their processes giving them more time to do the things they love!
Do you have any tips for new florists getting started in the business?
Enjoy the little things and remember why you are doing it, remember all the people you are impacting in small and big ways. If you are in the events industry never lose sight of how important this day is for your clients, and that you are a part of that for so many special days, helping them to make memories that will last a life time!
How do you deal with waste at the Wholesale Level?
Because we are shipping directly from the farm, we do not typically deal with any waste. Our Farms use the best practices to ensure employee safety and environmental standards.
