The new Details Sales Labs were formally opened at Stetson University on January 19th, and we had such a great time celebrating with everyone! It was an incredible honor to be acknowledged by so many educators, students, friends, and family. We thank everyone who took the time to join us in the festivities and Stetson University for the warm welcome! Here is an inside look at our opening ceremony.
Jet Fresh Flowers provided all of the beautiful blooms and greenery for our ceremony. Everyone was blown away by the Details, and Stetson branded Speaking Roses! Thank you, Jet Fresh, for making our event beautiful!
At the ceremony, we were welcomed by the students and professors of the Centurion Sales Program. The entire Details team and all ceremony attendee's received a tour of the new branded labs for Stetson Students.
Opening remarks were made by Stetson's President Roelke and Dean Bakamitsos. Dr. John Riggs and longtime Details supporter Dr. Andrews spoke about the dedication of our founder Corrine and how Details plans to aid in the advancements of Centurion Sales Students.
Corrine was even awarded the coveted Stetson Hat at the ceremony. Stetson hats aren’t just given out-- they have to be earned. To get a Stetson, you must show a strong work ethic and a willingness to give back and help your community.

Details Flowers Software Launches New Partnership with Stetson University
Details Flowers Software launches an innovative partnership with Stetson University’s Centurion Sales Program to give students hands-on experience with the floral industry and how Details is revolutionizing industry practices. In addition to new Details labs, current partner labs include notable Volusia county businesses, including Nascar, Synergy Billing, and Watson Realty.
Details promotes the development of the floral business and draws attention to existing initiatives guaranteeing a better future for the new generation of industry members. A key part of Details partnership with the Centurion Sales Program is to offer its students instruction in effective floral industry sales practices. Students will also receive individual coaching from Details Flowers Software sales team members.
“The epicenter of the Centurion Sales Program is its innovative facilities, featuring specialized sales training labs outfitted with state-of-the-art audio and video equipment. Within these labs, students develop and hone their skills in sales, practicing sales calls and role-plays with customers.” (Stetson University)
“We are incredibly excited about our new partnership with Details Flowers Software and the unmatched professional opportunities it offers our students,” said Dr. John Riggs, Founding Director of the Centurion Sales Program. The Centurion Sales Program curriculum focuses on real-world applications and critical thinking through experiential simulations and recorded role-plays. “The newly branded Details Flowers sales labs are an amazing example of Corrine’s commitment to our student’s professional development!” Riggs wrote.
Students can apply what they learn in the Centurion Sales Program directly to Details operations through internship opportunities at the Details Headquarters in Ormond Beach. Details’ Flowers Software has participated in many Stetson University Career Fairs to meet the students firsthand and to create relationships with other businesses in the community.
“We are thrilled to partner with Stetson University to bring more interest to the floriculture industry. Not only will it give students an opportunity to apply their sales skills to real-life floral customers, but it will also give my team an opportunity to learn from millennials that offer a different perspective on social media, marketing, and trends coming up the pipeline,” says Corrine Heck, Founder, and CEO of Details. Both of Corrine’s daughter’s attend Stetson University, and she regularly is a guest speaker at the University’s entrepreneurship classes and MBA courses. “I’m excited to encourage, grow, and provide new skills to students, especially about all the challenges of operating a young software company. We think it’s a win-win for Stetson & Details.”
