We had a blast at this year's WF&FSA Conference! It is always so fun to go to Miami and see all of our friends from all over the globe. Here are the highlights of this year's conference!
Trade Show Floor
"Breaking Boundaries, Bridging Divides" was the 2022 Floral Distribution Conference theme. The theme could not be more spot on. Gathering together with flower enthusiasts from around the world is a sure way to success. Our CEO, Corrine, was joined by our Sales Director, Samantha, Our Support Director, Brandy, and our team photographer, Greg, at the conference to represent Details Flowers Software!
Our friends at Petal Productions designed our booth--and WOW, they did a phenomenal job! The essence of the design took you through the stages of building a recipe in Details, with the finished design showcased on top of the display. Not only did it include life-size Recipe images, but it also displayed the included products within the recipe. This included the individual vases, separated How genius--it is a visual how-to guide! This crew certainly did not miss the fine details! Our partner, Jet Fresh Flower Distributors, provided all blooms and greenery.
Speaking of our friends at Jet Fresh--their booth highlighted their new Speaking Roses Collection and the famous Hippy Psychedelic Roses. Speaking Roses is an excellent way to show off your brand--just look at the roses with our Details Logo pictured above! It was fun to step into their "Tattoo Shop" for personalized Jet Fresh tattoos. It was a massive hit with all the attendees!
We had the opportunity to say hello to our long-time industry friends and made a few new ones during the convention! This is the perfect opportunity to meet wholesalers and suppliers from all over the globe. Not to mention, you get to see all of the beautiful blooms the different suppliers have to offer! The Bloom Together After Party
We had the opportunity to be a collaborator for The Bloom Together After Party at the Tripping Animals Brewery in Doral, Florida. It was a wonderful time for all of those involved a the event to come together to support Networking, Collaboration, and Building Community within the Floral Industry. Even Willie Armellini from Flowers and Cents played his harmonica for us! The Bloom Show put together a fun recap video with some photos of the party, check it out!
Second Annual Women's Round Table Discussion
During the 2022 WF&FSA event, we had the honor of participating in the second annual Women's Day Round Table Discussion presented by Sahid Nadim from The Bloom Show and Willie Armellini from Flowers and Cents. Our CEO and Founder, Corrine, had the pleasure of joining Jeanne Boes from the San Francisco Flower Market, Laura Shinall from FreshPath Marketing, Jena Gizerskiy from Rosaprima, and Juana de la Torre from Ball SB on the panel this year.
The panel was such an excellent opportunity to share stories about their experiences in the floral industry and the impact the industry has on generations to come. This discussion focused on women in the industry's obstacles, the perseverance of the women involved in the panel to make a name for themselves, and how mentorship and collaboration are critical to moving the floral sector forward.
Being a woman in a male-dominated field is challenging enough. Having the passion and confidence for what you do will set you apart from everyone else in the room. We have a blog dedicated to the highlights of the discussion, along with the replay of the LIVE event here!
The Miami White Party
The Miami White Party presented by WF&FSA was sure not to miss. We all had so much fun, from live dancing to cigar making and a coconut drink stand! Letting loose with flower professionals is always so much fun. Attendees could commemorate the event with professional photo booth images!
