A Look Back at Wedding MBA 2021

We had an absolute blast at this year’s Wedding MBA convention! It was great to gather and see all of our floral friends again. We were fortunate that a large portion of our staff was able to attend to learn more about the industry and bond as a team.  If you did not attend this year’s convention--here is what you missed out on! 

Day 1 | Meet Up & Sight-Seeing

Day one of the convention was filled with site seeing Vegas and preparation for the exhibitor’s showcase. We hosted a Meet Up for all of our Dedicated Detailers at the Bellagio’s Botanical Gardens. What a treat it was to see our members together in the most magnificent floral exhibit in the city of lights. To learn more about the Bellagio gardens, read our blog!

The Details crew sampled the rich cuisine of the Las Vegas Strip. The first dinner at Vanderpumps in the Ceasers Palace was a mystical experience tucked away in a lavish indoor garden. Much fun was had by all!

Day 2 | Convention Time!

The first day of the convention started with a bang! Once at the Las Vegas Convention Center, we met our friends (and booth neighbors) Garden Roses Direct! The team at Garden Roses Direct and Alexandra Farms were so kind to provide us with our product for our booth! Beautiful garden roses like Darcey, White O’Hara, Constance, and Miranda were just some of the varieties shown. Justine Chapura and Lizzie Fisher, Details Super-Users and dear friends, used their floral magic to beautify our booth. Thank you both for your talents!

We created an itinerary filled with software tutorials, live floral demonstrations, customer appreciation prizes, and chances to collect Details Dollars from our money gun!

We hit the Jackpot when we had the opportunity to meet all of our customers. It truly meant the world to us to hear your stories about your business and touching testimonies. 

Justine Chapura of Justine’s Flowers gave a LIVE floral presentation and made the perfect flower crown. We all had so much fun modeling the crown during the show!

That evening, Yellowtail at The Bellagio served as the prime location for a celebration to honor the first successful day! The view of the Bellagio Fountain show was breathtaking. If you are looking to see Las Vegas at its finest, this is the way to go! 

Day 3 | It's All About The Details!

The last day of the convention was just as memorable as the first! We were able to meet more industry professionals, see more customers (and even some repeat visitors from the day before!), and truly highlight what we are all about. 

For our LIVE flower presentation, Lizzie, owner of Lizzie Bees Flower Shoppe and Floral Mechanics, demonstrated how to make a bouquet. It is so fun to watch how she transforms her materials into a beautiful masterpiece. Check out the entire presentation on our Instagram! 

The second day was prime time to cash in the big wins of all of the Details Dollars! We used our Details Money Gun throughout the show to give lucky spectators the chance to earn Details Dollars toward their first-year Details subscription. Congrats to all that won big!!

The last dinner in Las Vegas was the pièce de résistance! Beauty and Essex located in the Cosmopolitan Casino was not only a delicious fair of cuisine but an experience that was beyond compare. If you are in the Las Vegas area, this is one restaurant you do not want to miss! 

The final day in Las Vegas was a bittersweet experience. Our last meal was at the Bellagio's legendary Sadelle's. We had a front-row seat to the Bellagio Conservatory!

This trip was not only a tremendous opportunity to meet the top players in the wedding industry, but it also provided an opportunity to form friendships with everyone who participated. This was the highlight of the trip for the Details crew. We cant wait to see everyone again next year!
