This year’s Petal It Forward was especially meaningful for the Details Flowers Software team. As we celebrate our 10-year anniversary and being named one of the Top 100 Small Businesses in the U.S., we wanted to find a heartfelt way to give back to the community that has supported us throughout our journey.
With the help of our incredible partners — Alexandra Farms, Rosaprima, and Jet Fresh Flowers — we filled our offices with hundreds of stunning blooms. Our team invited the local community to visit our headquarters in Ormond Beach, where we shared the story behind the Petal It Forward initiative and encouraged everyone to take part in the joy of giving flowers away.
We advertised in advance, but even some lucky passersby couldn’t resist joining in on the fun when they saw the flowers! Each visitor received two bouquets: one to keep and one to give away — the perfect way to brighten someone’s day and pass along a smile.
💐 Did You Know? Studies have shown that receiving flowers triggers an immediate boost in happiness and reduces feelings of anxiety. Even just seeing flowers can elevate mood and create lasting positive emotions.
After the community pickup, our team set out to deliver bouquets to Ormond in the Pines Retirement Community, where we met with residents in both independent and assisted living. The smiles, laughter, and heartfelt conversations that followed were unforgettable.
We also made sure to thank the dedicated staff members who care for the residents daily — their compassion and service deserved some floral love, too.

We didn’t stop there! After our visit, the Details team hit the streets of Ormond Beach, sharing flowers with shoppers and small business owners around town. Each bouquet handed out became a moment of surprise and delight — a simple reminder of how kindness blooms when shared.

As we mark ten incredible years of helping florists and event professionals bring their visions to life, this year’s Petal It Forward reminded us why we do what we do. Flowers have an extraordinary power to connect people, inspire joy, and express care — and being able to spread that message firsthand in our hometown was the perfect way to celebrate. We’re so proud to support this initiative and grateful to everyone who joined us in spreading happiness, one stem at a time.
