A Decade in Bloom: The 10-Year Journey of Details Flowers Software

by Details Flowers ● 28 April ● News & Events

Long before launching Details Flowers Software, Corrine Heck’s story began with a red backpack and a yellow school bus, standing in front of her family’s greenhouses in Apopka, Florida. From childhood, Corrine was drawn to beauty, presentation, and the art of celebration—instincts that would become the foundation of her life’s work.

She found joy in the little things: beautifully wrapped presents, vibrant colors, and the magic of unforgettable experiences. Whether performing at birthday parties, serving as Rush Secretary in college, or planning formals and weddings, Corrine thrived on creating moments of joy and meaning.

Corrine immersed herself in the floral world—working at flower shops, brokering blooms in Miami, and eventually launching her own floral design business. She designed over 800 weddings, balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood and an unwavering vision.

In 2005, that vision crystallized. While preparing a proposal nearly a year in advance, she realized she had already forecasted every bloom. That spark became a mission: What if florists everywhere could plan like this? Corrine called herself a floral software developer before the software existed, but she had the vision—and eventually, the right allies. A supportive client and a generous Stetson professor helped open the first doors, while a like-minded developer helped shape the dream into reality.

Backed by heart, hustle, and a deep-rooted love for flowers, Corrine built not just a product, but a platform—a place where florists could thrive, connect, and modernize their craft. And so, Details Flowers Software began to bloom. Here is a timeline of the last ten years of Details Flowers Software.
